Ok, Introduction thread....

Ok just to try and get people posting, why dont we have an "introduce yourself" Thread?
Just so we find out a bit about yourself, hobbies, interests etc etc.
Ok, how about I post a few general questions about hobbies or whatever, and if ou want you can answer them, and then post questions of your own? So it keeps the thread going?
Ok Ill start I guess...
What are your hobbies? And beliefs? What kind of things do you feel strongly about?
And what do you do in your spare time? (About from browsing this forum, which you ALL do

To asnwer my own questions, I enjoy computers, (obviously) TV, Anything to do with the Matrix or its sequels, and the Internet. Im also into electronics, and certain branches of science.
I believe... in energy... That everything and everyone is a manifestation of energy, and that we CAN control it... THereby controlling our "reality" I dont think anythign is definite, I dont believe in "facts"

most of us could probably talk about ourselves forever

i for one would rather live in a world of trees, trains, computers and solitude
where aggressiveness, austentation and the automobile do not exist

a world where computers outnumber televisions, modems outnumber voice phones
little people sized trains connect little people sized twisty little
freeform houses and all the places people congregate when they feel like it

where no one considers themselves greater then the lowliest insect nor lower then the loftiest god/goddess

i have called myself an errascable and liscentious missanthorp and proud of it

though at this point in my life the liscentios bit is pretty much
a matter of more nostelgia then any sort of inspiration or urgency

is a name and title that comes from former lives as well as a ouji board
fingol o garanglass is a hermit of the 'known world'
and zymphrumple op cargh is a large green anthropomorphic cat
person a crystaline entity
and dreamtoucher, a dreamshaper and dreamsender of the pini's elfquest world of two moons
nedtimamim is a constructed, possibly maidu way, of saying the same thing

all of these personae have been me at one time or another
but themnax is the most me of them all
having been me for many lifetimes before having been born
into this earth world and body my parents of this world
were so kind as to provide for me

i was born two years before the midpoint of the just past centrury and those parents at at the opposite end of mortal life from birth. my mother still verymuch among the living but my father having 'ascended'/rejoined the tao/ however you want to say it, some ten and then some years past

i could go on about favorite colors and hobbies
but i've probably taken up enough space and time for one missive as it is

well ok, ill add this, i enjoy anything i can use as a means to express myself creatively, and there are galleries of my illustrations of the kind of world i love on elfwood and vcl under my mundane name of john teall and on side 7 in the 'o's as in 'of lananara'

if i remember to and how to i'll try to put links to them in my sig line when i get arround to doing that

well there's a reason i don't do img linking
and that's because the bandwidth it barrows isn't my own

all of these are on voluntary free sites that have grown
quite large that were created out of their admin's personal
and not unlimited pockets.

vcl specificly blocked doing
so when a lot of people with immages on there started using
them in their live journals.

that's how i heard about there being a possible problem
with doing it that way

the side 7 one i don't recall if i have a way of directly

which reminds me, i've got a little 60x60 under 2k avatar that
i made up and use on a couple of other boards
and on the profile page i see an option to use one
but i see only a slot for what looks like esentialy
img linking it from another site already on the net
and not an upload script to upload it directly from
my own drive.

for what it's worth i think ch'marr over on vcl wrote
a script for these ubb and or vb driven boards, i forget
which one, but i know the're all pearlscript, which is
unfortunately 'all greek' to me

but i know a couple of them have that browse button
way to upload to a space on them somewhere from the
user's drive to store on the bbs's site a little
avitar immage like that in the profile options

Oh right, avatars, sorry I should have made a post about them. To upload your own avatar, you need to have it hosted on a site that allows hotlinking, like picturetrail.com or www.villagephotos.com and then you post the link to it into that field in your profile. Both Village photos and pcturetrail are free, and if you like you can email me your avatar and ill upload it for you?? I can also set it as a custom avatar, so that anyone can use it...
