Heh, I started this thing (almost) everyday after school, I'd unwind a bit by watching the Garfield I'd recorded from the morning, then lie on our couch an close my eyes and so on...
The idea is to eliminate as many of your senses as you can - Taste and Smell are easy, Sight, I just close my eyes, and as for Touch - I don't move at all, and sit on my hands. Hearing... Well, it's just very quiet when I do this.
Anyways, I do that, and I always get at least 10-15 minutes before I'm interrupted - usually by one of my brothers knocking on the door for me to unlock it (They get home from school 30+ minutes after me. I'm gonna miss that next year). Almost everytime that happens, I feel like I'm rising up before I manage to open my eyes. Also, the first knock, the one that startles me up, is also more distant than the others.
And I don't fall asleep actually doing my homework like I usually do.

Sounds like a great idea! Its basically like a sensory deprivation tank then? But without the tank obviously lol. People use those to achieve strange results, good luck Iz, sounds like fun
