I have been attempting to learn about wicca/witchcraft. In one of the books I was looking at I read about a Witch who had learned a deep breathing technique that would allow her to meditate easily. I tried it myself a few times before last night, when I was standing outside in the early evening. I was feeling stressful so I tried it with the expectation that I would put myself into destress mode. To make a long story short I put myself into a semi-trance or hypnotic state three times without much effort. I'm surprised by how easy it was the first time I tried it.
I felt pretty good afterwards. The last time I tried it as a means of attempting to break myself as a bad habit. In just one day it seems to have worked somewhat. I don't know much about Witchcraft yet, but does this have anything to do with it?
