Why is it that people value life? They say its a gift.... Wish I kept the receipt, I could have returned it....

thought that comes to mind when you refer that life is a gift is "who gave it to you" and what kind of gift is that? i mean, its like giving soap...or socks...(well some soap is ok, if its all yummy smelling and stuff) but yah, there might be a reason for being here, but i gotta go

i'm no expert on the term i could maybe quote marvin the paranoid android or something
calling it a gift does seem a bit like getting something you have to have and would have had to have gotten anyway all wrapped up in pretty gift wrap for a present when you were hoping for maybe something fun you could play with
of course it would be a bit difficult to interact with a tangable universe without having a tangable form to walk arround in in order to do so
that's not much of a reasurance maybe, but what to exchange it for if you could, i mean what to exchange it for that would do you any good without it.
well one thing might be the ability to play leggo blocks with star stuff while remaining in some nontangable but still in some sense sentient form
that would be great
and while i've heard all sorts of speculation as to what nontangable existence might be like i've yet to hear any sort of compelling guarantee of THAT particular exchange
though it is something to hope for
but first perhaps we are in this world to learn how to be responsible with such god-like powers were we ever to come into command of them
while we for the most part seem to lack them individualy collectively we may have something approaching the sort with the ability of our individual priorities to collectively create the kinds of incentives that intern motivate statisticly the directions societies evolve and the goals of self proclaimed and choosen 'leaders'

Maybe we have such powers? and we just need to realise it? To live in an intangible form... IMO would be complete control over energy. No middleman. I think you could mould energy into whatever shape or form you wanted, including physical matter. But why? IF you want to eat, instead of creating food, you could create the sustanance that it provides, skip the physical act of eating alotogether. Ill write more later, gtg now..

Everything is way it is for a reason. Be yourself means more than just trying to be honest or do what feels right in bad situations. It is being yourself, it can not get any more simple. Nature gave it, so be it, be one with nature by acknowleging ourselves as part of it. And dwell in law of nature...why, it's the most natural thing to do.

But what if we choose to be unnatural? Are we destined to do what is natural our whole lives, every action irrevocably leading to that eventuality? Or can we consciously change?

why do u say ive smoked? is it because a statement that rabbit dances in the sky is absurd, unordinary, and something that a person who smoked weed would say? Maybe the insane are most sane people. Do you see what I mean? A rabbit doesn't dance in the sky but you try to make it be. You say we shouldn't have restrictions yet you restrict yourself. I have just said a simple sentence nothign more nothign less...your mind has interpeted it in many diffeent ways and made it way more than what is just is. "free" yourself. peace

things being the way they are for a reason
doesn't there arn't more then one combination of ways things can be that work just that there are also more then one in which they do not
and that's one of those things to discouver
like the conservation of probability you can tweek probability localy in all sorts of ways as long as probablity generaly is preserved
i haven't really discouvered all the principals of this but experientialy that appears to be pretty consistantly one of them
somethings appearantly cannot be forced but can be influenced to the degree of self restraing from forcing
the project, hook, sublimate pattern of individual 'ritual' which is perhapse a corrilary to 'suggest', allow and 'forget'
also tangable material methods seem to be more reliable when available in this realm though nontangable manipulations are a better then nothing port in the storm when they are not
it's a matter of having combinations not be at cross purposes internaly, and sometimes that takes a LOT of objective analysis to avoid, and i think that's what a lot of people don't seem to realize whether talking about the tangable or the nontangable or in integrated combination togather.
