Experiments were done by a Japanese professor on water crystals. It was found that when we radiate grateful and positive thoughts to the water, the water crystals appear very beautiful. If we radiate thoughts of hatred, the water crystals become very ugly. As mentioned by Master Chin Kung QUOTE If we take a look at our physical body, its content is mostly water; 70% of it is water. Every cell of our body, our world, the smallest particle, the pores of our skin to the tip of our hair, they were all mentioned in the Buddhist sutra, will all change according to the change of our thoughts and our emotions. If we can understand this principle, we should often keep our hearts happy without the wandering thoughts, the discriminating minds, the worldly attachments, or afflictions. We will always keep true sincerity, purity, equality, proper understanding and compassion in our hearts. The crystals formed under these conditions will definitely be the most beautiful and the perfect ones. The most beautiful and the perfect ones are the Buddhas and the Bodhisattvas. This is indeed most sacred. Info on these research: www.thank-water.net/www.hado.net/holisticnetworker.com/sf/index.html

A step towards misunderstanding and making wrong conclusions to me... appearence is deceitful, so far there's no ultimate definition of a word 'beautiful'... we are what we are, that guy wastes his time on what isn't important...
If that is true, I don't care however, people will try to be nice to be beaytiful, therefore they'll remain hypocritical inside, but hey, there's always plastic surgery...
Here's how my thoughts influence my appearance: when I have holidays and in the mourning look at my dirty face that is to be shaved, I think "who gives a damn? if someone doesn't like me or my face, they are welcome to state their opinion and get mind your own business or go to hell answer, I don't give a damn, shaved or unshaved I am myself..." - and I become dirty, ugly and unshaved... till the end of my holidays... I speak the truth...

I agree Sniper, appearance shouldnt really matter, but I dont think thats what Marquis was saying. I think that quote was just using appearance as an example.
