The science of spirituality?

What happens when science tries to explain spirituality, and succeeds?
When scientific methods are used to investigate, and they find evidence of paranormal activity?
Im not talking about just explaining it away as something mundane, but by finding evidence of something more.
I cant think of many examples, but what are you thoughts?
The whole science vs. religion debate should get pretty interesting

Heh, actually, yeah, I find it quite strange when something like that does happen - and I heard about that kind of thing twice. Some sort of detector actually went off when a ghost went through this doorway and they got a picture of it, but no one believed them because they said it wasn't possible for a ghost to set anything off in the material plane....
