Everyone should have free will right? But should there be limits? And if so, what limits? What if you believe its ok to... have an abortion? ANd someone else says its not ok? SHould you have the free will to carry out the abortion, or should someone step in and stop you? What about murder, or robbery? Where do we draw the line between freedom and neccessary control? Im a fan of the old Wiccan adage of "do as ye will, yet harm ye none" I think people should be able to do what they want, once the dont hurt anyone. I think people should be able to think anything at all, including thoughts of murder. Peoples minds are their own, what goes on is noone business.

But isnt it all subjective? I mean I may think abortion is acceptable, and a question of individual free will, but someone esle might think its murder, and free will should be sacrificed to stop it. Now if we make a rule sayign abortion can, or can not be carried out in whatever case, doesnt that violate personal freedom? And if we put limits on freedom, wont we get right back where we started? With a rule book called the "law" the size of a small country?? Do we really *want* that??

Does not killing the life violate personal freedom? Ultimately you are taking it from the unborn. Free will to have sex. Consequences and responsibily stem from that. Once you are dealing with someone elses life, it is no longer just your free will.

But what is a life? Until a few months into pregnancy, a baby is just a mass of flesh, -not- alive. yes it -will- be alive, but if the baby isnt alive, isnt snetient, it wotn have a soul, so it isnt really a baby. I am prochoice.

there is a fairly simple and rational place to draw that line and that quite simply is harm and the avoidance of causing it that is the natural morality occasionaly it may be unobvious where harm is and isn't and sometimes it takes a bit of research and soul searching to find it, but quite often it's fairly simple and obvious.

Prochoice is selfishness and selfishness is evil.
Life is life. Killing is Killing yourself. do you see. Any death isn't worth it. Killing a child before it is born is wrong. THhat child could be the one to change the world, and you kill it?

That what im asking tho, when does it become life? At the time of conception? or sometime during the pregnacy? If the baby was aborted before it became life, would that still be "kiling" in your opinion?

I would say when the process of birth starts. So yes, at conception. as the two cells join together, the potential of life begins and the diving joining of those cells starts the process of rebirth
